Terms of Service

1. Purpose of CredForma

CredForma is a peer-to-peer fraud risk signal network for vetted online sellers. It allows members to share and view address-based fraud patterns. CredForma is not a blacklist or complaint board. Reports are advisory only and do not prove fraud.

2. Eligibility and Verification

• Access is by application, verification, or invitation.
• Members must be active online sellers who ship physical goods to customers.
• Verification may include business details or shipping label review.
• CredForma may deny or revoke access if requirements are not met.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CredForma only for legitimate business purposes. You may not:

• Submit false or retaliatory reports.
• Include personal identifiers such as names, phone numbers, or payment details.
• Share or resell CredForma data outside your own business.
• Attempt to scrape or reverse-engineer CredForma systems.

4. Reporting Guidelines

Reports should focus on systematic fraud patterns such as chargeback abuse, return fraud, triangulation schemes, or address manipulation.

Do not report:

• Normal customer complaints.
• Honest returns within policy.
• One-time delivery issues.
• Customers who are rude, leave negative feedback, or simply change their mind.

Improper use of reporting may result in permanent suspension.

5. Search and Reporting Limits

• Reporting is limited to one address per day per user.
• Searches are limited daily to prevent scraping and ensure thoughtful use.

6. Data and Privacy

• CredForma never stores plaintext addresses.
• All addresses are hashed with a CredForma-specific salt before leaving your device.
• Reports are advisory signals, not confirmations of fraud.
• All stored data is encrypted.

7. Communication and Forums

• CredForma does not host user forums or chat features.
• Any discussion about CredForma on third-party platforms such as Reddit or Discord is unofficial.
• Participation in such forums is entirely at your own risk. Doing so may compromise your privacy or anonymity. CredForma does not monitor or endorse third-party discussions.

8. Confidentiality

You may not disclose to customers or third parties that their address has been flagged in CredForma. Doing so may result in immediate termination and potential legal liability. Use CredForma data only for internal business decisions.

9. Legal Compliance

You remain responsible for complying with consumer protection laws, shipping obligations, and any platform rules that apply to your business. A flagged address should never be the sole reason to deny service or cancel an order.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

CredForma provides fraud risk signals on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or prevention of fraud. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CredForma is not liable for any damages that may result from the use of the service.

11. Termination

CredForma may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated. Continued use of CredForma after updates indicates acceptance.

14. Beta Program

CredForma is currently in closed beta. Features may change, and service interruptions may occur. Early access members receive special benefits as outlined during registration.
